CALL ANSWERING + OPT-IN TEXT FOLLOW-UP

The call ends.
The connection stays open.

A follow-up text after every call—for callers who opt in, whether they’re admitted or not.

Blueshirt Media connects AI call answering with automated text follow-up for treatment centers. Callers who agree to receive texts have another way to reconnect with your admissions team after the conversation.

AFTER ANSWERED CALLS, TOO
  1. 01

    Have the conversation

The caller speaks with the assistant.

  2. 02

    Ask for the opt-in

Text follow-up starts only when the caller agrees.

  3. 03

    Keep a way to reconnect

Send the follow-up text whether or not the call leads to an admission.

Message wording, timing, reply handling, and opt-outs are defined during setup.

COVER THE MOMENTS THAT MATTER

Your phones don’t follow office hours.

A family may call after dinner. An inquiry may come in while every counselor is on another line. Build a response for both.

AFTER THE DAY ENDS

Start the conversation tonight.
Give staff a useful next step.

The assistant answers with your approved greeting, discusses the program information you provide, and collects the agreed callback details.

For your team

A callback request follows the process you approve for times when nobody is available to take a transfer.

FROM RING TO NEXT STEP

Make the handoff part of the service.

Answering is the beginning. The important part is what your team and the caller can do next.

  1. 01

    Welcome the caller

Use your center’s greeting and approved program information.

  2. 02

    Gather useful context

Agree on the details staff need, callback preferences, and questions the assistant may ask.

  3. 03

    Connect or arrange a callback

Follow tested destinations, staff hours, and fallback handling. Confirm who owns the next step.

Your programs.
Your people.

We review your current numbers, call tracking, staff availability, and information before defining the workflow.

Keep your admissions team at the center of the process. Decide which calls should transfer, where they should go, and what happens when that destination is unavailable.

RESEARCH & PERSPECTIVE

The night shift has enough to carry.

When routine admissions calls reach overnight nursing staff, phone coverage becomes part of a wider workload conversation.

Our published report, Protecting the Night Shift, reviews evidence and practical considerations for overnight coverage, staff handoffs, and a measured pilot.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Your questions, answered.

Do you send follow-up texts after answered admissions calls?

Yes. Blueshirt Media sends a follow-up text after each call when the caller opts in to receive texts, whether or not they are admitted. Text follow-up is not limited to missed calls. Message wording, timing, reply handling, and opt-outs are defined during setup.

How does AI call answering work for addiction treatment centers?

The assistant answers using your center’s approved greeting and program information, gathers agreed contact details, and follows your transfer or callback rules. Your admissions staff handle clinical decisions and the next stage of care.

Can the service answer after-hours and overflow calls?

Yes. Call answering can be configured for after-hours calls, overflow when staff are busy, or both. We review the forwarding rules and staffing schedule with your center before activation.

Can callers speak with a live admissions team member?

When your transfer rules allow it and staff are available, the assistant can attempt a handoff to the agreed destination. When a transfer is unavailable, it follows your approved callback process.

Can we use our current treatment center phone number?

We review your current phone and call-tracking setup to determine the forwarding and routing options. The connection method is confirmed and tested before launch.

Is a BAA included before patient information is handled?

Blueshirt Media’s onboarding includes a Business Associate Agreement before protected health information is handled. The proposed workflow, vendor arrangements, and information-handling requirements are reviewed as part of setup.

What do you review for privacy when setting up call answering?

Setup reviews the information collected, who receives it, access needs, recordings, retention, and transfer destinations. Your center’s privacy and compliance requirements must be addressed for the specific workflow before activation.

How much does AI Voice Coverage cost?

AI Voice Coverage is $1,800 per month, including 2,500 voice minutes. Additional minutes are $0.60 each. Call for pricing on Voice + Text Recovery or Enterprise requirements.

How long does it take to launch call answering?

Timing depends on the program information, phone setup, integrations, and review needed. We agree on a rollout plan after reviewing your requirements and test conversations and routing before activation.
